Our Check-In Service is an essential step in the tenancy process, ensuring a smooth transition for both landlords and tenants.

It involves a personalised meet-and-greet at the property, where our team arrives equipped with the previously completed inventory report. 

This service streamlines the handover of keys while facilitating a detailed walk-through of the property with the new tenant.

Importance of the Check-In service

The check-in service is crucial in the property rental process as it establishes the baseline condition of the property at the start of the tenancy. 

It ensures clarity and fairness for both landlords and tenants by meticulously going through the Inventory Report with both the property inspector and the tenant present documenting the property’s state, therefore minimising disputes regarding damages or discrepancies when the tenancy ends.

The Check-In Service Process

  • Meet and Greet – Our team meets the new tenant at the property, equipped with the meticulously prepared inventory report.
  • Report Review – Going through the inventory report together, we highlight key details and any necessary points, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Tenant Agreement – The tenant signs the inventory report, indicating their acknowledgment and agreement with its contents.
  • Key Handover – We facilitate the key handover, ensuring a secure and efficient transfer.
  • Meter readings – Where accessible, we conduct final meter readings at the property, facilitating a seamless transition for both tenants and landlords during utility services switch over 

Your Check-In is complete

Now that your Check-in is completed, it undergoes careful assessment and will be promptly sent to you via email within 24 hours of the inspection.

Unlike the Inventory Report, no amendments will be made, as these would have been addressed during the check-in with the tenant.
